Spooky Mini Pizzas
These super-easy and tasty tortilla pizzas - created for us by Sasha from Hungry Little Bakers - are such a fun way to get little ones busy in the kitchen, and make the perfect Halloween party nibble.
Older children can enjoy making creepy olive spiders, while younger ones can have fun decorating their pizzas with spooky eyes!

Difficulty
Easy
- 2 tortilla wraps
- 2 handfuls of cheddar cheese (grated)
- Tomato puree
- Oregano
- Black and green olives (stoneless)
-
Preheat oven to 200 / 180c fan
-
Grease a muffin tray if not using a silicone one
-
Use a cookie cutter to cut out 6 circles from each tortilla
-
Ask little ones to place them carefully in the muffin tray
-
Ask your helper to squeeze a little tomato puree onto each tortilla circle. (A great exercise for strengthening little hand muscles. If this is too tricky for young ones, you could squeeze the tomato puree into a bowl and then water it down with a splash of water. Then ask them to spoon it on instead)
-
Let them sprinkle oregano over the paste and spread around to make the pizza base
-
Ask them to 'share' the cheese between all 12 pizzas
-
Let them decorate each pizza with olives to make spooky eyes or scary spiders!
-
Cook for 12-15min until the cheese is bubbling
